Hi Tim ; I ran a 1500 New Holland back in the late 70's early 80's. This one had the 391 Ford gas engine that was quite thirsty (about 70 Imperial gallons between 8:00 am and 5:00pm ) in corn pushing a 4 row wide head. This machine had a lot of capacity some around here ran 6 row heads. I think the cylinder was 50 in. wide. As noted in the other post they were assembled in Europe so most of the hardware was metric. Let me know if you want more info as I think I have an operators book here somewhere. Bob

I recall that they were built in the former Clayson plant that New Holland owned in the Netherlands, but were fitted with North American engines, wheels and tires, cabs and air, and electronics upon their import. They have to be early '70s vintage. Only ever seen one, so I don't think they're real common machines, which could be trouble parts-wise. I don't see aftermarket parts listed for them either. Best to check with a New Holland dealer about parts availability. New Holland/Clayson sold a lot of conventionals in Europe, so maybe new parts can still be had through NH.
