9600 combine unload elbow

I'm replacing the bottom bearing on the vertical unload auger, when I noticed up on the unload elbow that little steel piece thats held on by four bolts is off and the bolts are gone. I climbed up there, the holes are not lined up. I can see the threads, so its not just too far off. My question is, how do I get the holes lined back up? I don't want to put something in the hole and mess the threads up. With the bottom gears off the vertical auger, if the auger turns, will it be out of time?

Just use a small tapered punch in the holes. It will not hurt the threads if you don't get rough with it. You just need to move it just a little so that should work fine.
