All-Crop is back running but have a Question

Finally got the rocher shaft bearings back from my welder. Made a new wood piece for it and then got her all back together and running.

I did some work on the straw spreader but have a question about the belt. Is it suppose to twist once to run the spreader a certain way or is it to run like a normal belt?

Now just waiting on the wheat to ripen. Kernels are turning colors and no milk at all. Very chewy kernels. Maybe next weekend...........that would be a first.

(quoted from post at 21:46:55 05/18/12) It has a twist and I have trouble getting mine right each year.Makes a half turn around pully and then goes back straight.

Are you talking the very long belt that runs just about everything back there or the straw spreader belt. I talking about the one that connects to the hood that has the spinning bars sortof like a chopper but there are no stationary knives. The long belt i have the twits right and the whole key to that one was the keeper on the big pully. If that isnt set right then belt never stays right

If your talking about the "table" straw spreader that spins horizontally just outside of the sieves and runs off of the back of the tailings auger, that belt is strait and does not have a twist in it at all.

Not that spreader. This one looks like a straw chopper. 6 inch metal flails in pairs and 8 rows of them on a single shaft. This is inside the hood as it spins very fast. Will try to get a pic

Ok first pic is of the "knives" but hey are nto really knives. They are in the hood It is folded up as it is in the shed. The second is the pully. This goes down to a pully on the back side of the seperator drive pully. I think it needs one twist to make the unit spin counter clockwise as standing at back of machine. With out the twist it will run clockwise and just spin the straw around the top and back streight down. Any ideas?

(quoted from post at 21:04:25 05/19/12) Wouldn't counter clockwise throw the straw back into the machine? Mine has a table that spins.

I kind of thought so too. But watching the video you can actually see it throwing it out better.
