I have the manual but what is milo called in the book so i can set it up There is no sorgum but ther is a sorgo............

In the manual milo is referred to as "maize". I
have used my 66 for milo and although the book
says to use the same finishing sieve as for wheat
(5/32 x 3/4 slots), I have found that the soybean
sieve (3/8 round holes) can clean just as well and
results in a lot less grain being sent into the
tailings return. Maybe the kernels of the modern
varieties are larger than they used to be? In
general, the settings I have used for milo are
very much like they are for wheat but slightly
less aggressive at the cylinder.

Your right, corn is called maize in certain areas,
mostly in countries other than the US. Based on the
settings the manual recommends, though, in this case
it would be referring to milo.

The Indians always called corn, maize...but growing up here in west central Texas, I never heard milo called anything but maize...in fact, it wasn't until later generations came along that it became known as milo here too. This year, with only 1 inch of rain since January 1, everthing is call burned up.

Use the settings listed in the book for Kaffir Corn...Hybred short sorghum was developed from Kaffir corn and hygear sorghum
