4420 shaft speed indicator

I pulled the fuse on the shaft speed indicator because I don't even have the straw chopper on the 4420 for barley or corn. Since the straw chopper isn't running the monitor would BEEP nonstop!!!!

Is there a way to short the signal so it thinks the chopper IS on when I have it off the combine? This will let me monitor the other functions.

Not sure about yours but our ih shaft monitor has switches on the back of the monitor to turn individual sensors on or off.

There is an adaptor plug that plugs into the harness on the combine and is then grounded to a bolt. Your chopper will then go off. Mike
