Ok guys,
So I have a 750 MF combine that I'm thinking about scrapping, decided I'd offer up parts that might help.. I know harvest is pretty well wrapped up this year.. Guess I should have decided to do this earlier, but with scrap prices climbing, I'm frankly getting tired of holding onto it.
The combine is a "yellow wheel" (early) gear drive gasser.. I have sold a few parts out of it already, but I think there's a lot of parts that'd still be good.
I know the finals/trans are ok, but I don't believe there are any good belts left. I think the straw walkers are ok, cylinder bars look ok, has the "rubber paddle" throat.. Throat itself is pretty well junk, but the rubber paddles are still in it and look good..
The 350 Chevy gas engine has about 10 hours on a overhaul.. One cylinder was cracked, so it was sleeved, valves ground, crank polished, believe it has new valve guides (would have to dig out paperwork) new rod/main/cam bearings, new lifters, timing chain.. Basically all the stuff one would replace in a normal overhaul. The machine shop bill was $1005 and a little change (which included the rebuild kit)..
The machine has been used as a demo derby combine.. I know that'll hurt some feelings, but truth is truth.. I'm not gonna lie about it.. I guess if it hurts too many feelings no one will buy any parts that may be usable and it'll end up totally scrapped.. It is what it is, and I'm not gonna make up a buncha stuff to hopefully sell parts.. makes no difference to me, would just like to see people get parts if it'd help them out.. I'm not looking to make a killing on the parts.. Just hate to scrap if anyone is interested.
All the parts are USED.. I can try to assess how good/bad they are if anyone is interested.. Machine is located in Monroe County, MI (southeast corner)
