My new-to-me New Holland TR70 won't put the unloader auger out unless the engine is running at over half throttle, Variable speed won't respond at a low engine speed either. Table lifts great at all speeds, Do I have a hydraulic pump problem, need an oil & Filter change or what? Or do they " just do that"

I have owned a TR 70 for 25 years. Some things - Unloading Auger, Reel Lift, are on a secondary Hydraulic system. The motor has to be at full speed to make them work. Look at the Hydraulic pump. There is a small pump bolted to a larger pump. It looks like one pump but is really two pumps. There is a drive shaft that goes all the way through the first pump. You need to pull the shaft out from time to time and check the drive coupler that connects the second pump to the first pump.

I had a TR 95 , those hydraulics were fast even idling ( better than my 1688 IH)
