GX345 Clutch Issue

When I start the tractor and pull up on the PTO switch, it makes a loud noise and then tries to die. I dropped the deck and I can turn the pully with a finger on the deck and turn the blades.

I had the wife engage the PTO switch while I was under and it engages and turns freely. It makes the loud noise again when she disengages the switch. Does this point to the blasted clutch? I hope not as that is a little bit expensive.

I revved it a bit, and put it at Full Throttle. Still, it wants to die. It only has about 120 hours on it. Wouldn't have thought that I would have an issue like this yet. When the deck is off and I go full throttle, the clutch spins fine. But when you disengage the clutch it makes the noise again.
