Kohler k241s no spark. Help!!

Hey guys,

I just finished reassembling my Kohler K241. I had torn it down to have new valve guides pressed in and reamed. The reassembly went smoothly, but now I have no spark.

This tractor has battery ignition. I have 12 volts going to the coil. I have double and triple checked all of my connections. I'm really just learning about these engines as I go. How do I diagnose the rest of the ignition system? Is there any way to check the coil and condensor?

If anyone can give me a run-down of how to check the remainder of the system, I'd really appreciate it!

Thanks!

I'd change the condenser, particulary if
it's the external type. Might have gotten banged around a bit, and crimped some foil inside. Points can be shined up, condensers can't

Use a VOM to check Coil as mentioned in link,
pinched plug lead ?
