I'm needing the wire diagram on the switch- behind dash. This tractor has pointless ignition on it.The switch has 5 prongs on it.Need to know what wires go from the markings on switch to where at on the starter rec. or alt. box.The tractor only gets fire at plug when you touch wire from bottom of coil with an tester. That is giving it a ground I suppose.Don't know, all the wire diagrams don't really show me what I need.Anyone have any clues? Thanks for any info.

Do you still need helpwith this. If so I will make some scans of my manual. I have a 1614 and the manual shows an electrical diagram with a 5 prong ignition switch. I am not even sure of the year. My manual says "after serial number 48140". I just inherited the tractor and am trying to get it running. I was very happy to come across all the original paperwork.

I have a 1614 Powerking, last summer the electric PTO worked fine. Started to use it this spring and it wont work. There is electric going to the unit. Any suggestions, these are expensive and hard to find

See if this will help. Hal
PS: You don't want any battery voltage fed to these electronic modules.

Go to Yahoogoups.com and join the PowerKing group there for info and look at the info on he left side of page to see more items. Most PK owner's manuals have a few diff wiring diagrams in them, you have to figure which one you have. Yes, you can get the wrong switch, a common mistake. Do you have points? Some don't and just spinning the flywheel should get a spark as long as it's kill wire isn't grounded. Some guys put a second toggle switch on for killing the engine on reworked tractors.

Did you just replace the ignition switch? If so, they may have given you the wrong one. It's easy enough to do but can cause some problems.

I just looked through a lot of my paper stuff and found nothing. I have some CDs that I will reference tomorrow if I get the chance and see what I can come up with.
