Anyone working on a Kohler 181?

I'm trying to make a running Kohler K181 out of junk parts and one piece that I am missing is the points plunger. The rod that rides on the
cam lobe and works the points. If anyone has one apart and could mic the length for me that would be great! I am sure I can fab one if I
know the length.

Last time I bought points for mine the plunger was included.

Wow. I have never bought points for a Kohler K series that had that plunger included.

That rod is available Kohler part 41-411-01

steve is right. i just searched and found one for sale on the bay, and its description said its length is approx 1.266 inches.

Anyone working on a Kohler 181?
