I checked the sight glass as instructed in the owner's manual. The hose going into the bottom of the sight glass is also clear so I can see the oil in it. The oil level in the hose is way below the sight glass. I added a full quart of ATF type F as the owner's manual said I could use that. The oil level in the hose didn't change. I started adding another quart and after adding about a pint it wouldn't take any more. The oil level in the hose still didn't change. My wife drove the tractor ahead a few feet and it moved OK. I also cycled the three point up and down a few times. After I moved the tractor I noticed a large puddle of oil where it had been sitting like maybe it was coming out of the vent after being over filled. I didn't get down and look under the tractor because it was getting dark (and COLD). I also have a hard time getting up from the ground due to some health issues so I don't get on the ground unless I have to.
Any ideas or advice of where to look?
Thanks,
Arvin
