318 runs rich

I got my 318 running today. It now has new spark plugs. It sat for over 2 years and I had to clean out the fuel tank before I could start it. I also flushed the lines out. It runs rich. The previous owner put an electric fuel pump on it. Could that be the cause? I was wondering about putting some additive (Sea Foam or something similar) in the fuel tank that might clean the carburetor. Any suggestions?

What shape is the air filter? It can cause rich operation if dirty.

Cleaning the carb is not the problem as you are getting plenty of fuel.

Is the choke plate in carb fully opening when choke knob is pushed all the way in? Can be checked when engine is not running.

Some Onan carbs have a plastic foam float that will fail, get too heavy with gas and cause that. Or, maybe the electric fuel pump is putting out too much pressure. They do come in specific PSI for different uses. I think the one you need is 2-4PSI.

Thanks to everyone for their suggestions. I will get a carb kit and a new float. I think the float may be bad due to sitting for over 2 years with bad gas in it.
