TORO TIME CUTTER

I have a toro time cutter zero turn ,and it's not charging the battery .I bought used .I have checked all
the wiring and all seems good ,what could be the problem

Hamilton is right. Magnets can be a problem.

If you have a voltage meter, set it to AC (alternating current), plug the prongs into the white plug with yellow wires that goes to the stator. Start the engine. It should read about 30 volts AC. If it does not, remove the flywheel to inspect the magnets and the stator. If your only way to get the flywheel off is to beat on it, that alone is enough to knock the magnets loose.

If you are reading 30v AC on the stator wires, either:
-your regulator is not grounded well. When in doubt, add another ground wire down to the frame or even back to the battery negative (-) post.
your new regulator is bad. (not common, but can happen.)
-your wiring harness has no continuity back through to the battery.

If your Time Cutter has the brake module under the seat and you have bypassed any wiring to make it start and run, then it will probably start charging the battery again after you deal with the module problems. That module controls everything.
