Harbor Freight tires

I find that those little rubber air tires from harbor freight has dont last long. They lose air and after a while the rubber begins to crack. Anyone else find this too? Rims ok, in fact you cant hardly buy the bearings for what the small tires cost, that is, the 3.99 ones that were in the ads for a long time.

've seen the same thing. A few years and they're worthless.

I have had better luck with the ones with the gold rim, a little more expensive but I have had four of them in service for three years! On a another note I put a set of "worry free" no flat tires on a yard cart this spring. $23.99 each. In two weeks while hauling only yard waste the welds broke on one hub. I returned both of them and got replacements. They lasted until early fall when I put a small load of firewood in the trailer and both hubs collapsed before I got to the house. These are supposed to be good for 275 lbs each....

Look at the country of origin. That answers your concern. I have/had problems with them too.....kept loosing air. Just went to solid rubber and that was that.
