John Deere 130

Picking up a John Deere 130 on a trade.. was wondering what are the pros and cons of these lawn tractors I seen they were made in the late 80's any information will be wonderful.. thanks!

It's old, and that's the big negative.
It doesn't have an hour meter unless it was added by a previous owner.
It's hard to know the condition. Have you seen it run and drive?

Pluses:

John Deere is good about stocking parts.
The engine is a good one, subject tow ear like anything else.
That transaxle was pretty standard among many lawn tractor brands of that era.
