Went to change the oil. drain is under the starter and hard to catch the oil. I got my cake pan ready & popped the orange cap loose....No oil came out. only a few drops.. The dip stick shows oil and the level is (was) fine. If oil is in there, why not drain out? I inserted a small screwdriver into the drain tybe hole, about an inch in and it hits something hard.?? HELP.

Does it look like this? If so, it will need to turn about 1/8 or so to the left, then pull out about 1/4 inch to drain the oil.

Just to add to what J Hamilton wrote: Those oil drains sometimes are not tight enough in the sump. If the whole thing loosens up when you turn the yellow part counterclockwise, what works best is to remove the starter and tighten the drain back up with a 15/16 open end wrench.

How it is supposed to work is the main body is supposed to stay tight in the sump and the yellow part turns 1/8 turn counter clockwise (The 'off' direction) and pulls out about 1/8 to open the drain.
