Toro 322D Mitsubishi K3D engine

I picked up this engine - no mower - intending to use it as a power unit. I can't get fuel past the injector pump. The electric pump and solenoid are working, the line bled to the injector, but nothing past there. I pulled the injector pump and it looks pristine. I don't want to tear into the pump only to find out I missed something simple. An ideas or suggestions?

Try loosening all the lines at the injectors and cranking it,several turns. It may have air in the pump and those lines that needs bleeding. Air in them won't pop injectors and let it flow out.

Thank you for the reply, but that is the thing I tried first. NO fuel past the pump, period. A simple bleeding of the lines would be wonderful, were there any fuel to bleed there.

Not familiar with that engine but are you certain that tbe shut off solenoid and what ever it activates are working? If so then suspect stuck plungers in the pump.

Yes, the shut off solenoid is working properly. Spokane Diesel offered to repair the pump to the tune of $300+ dollars per cylinder plus labor. Since this is an $85 engine destined to be a power unit, I will soon investigate those plungers. Thank you for your reply.
