is anyone familiar with the brigs and Stratton carb that comes on these I have tried everything that I know how to do and it always seems to leak gas I am pretty sure it is the seat on the main jet where it seats to the bowl but am not sure how to properly seat it thanks for any info

We really need to know what model the engine is that is on it.

That said, if the needle seat in the caburetor body is damaged, it probably will never seal off. And a new needle won't do the job.

You can try 'lapping' it with toothpaste or your favorite lapping compound, using a Q-tip for a lapper, but the best fix is to replace the
carburetor.

If the carb only leaks when it's not running, I add a 12v
solenoid.

Some B&S carb are notorious for dripping when they are not
running..Nothing I can do to stop them.

Amazon is a place to look for replacement carbs..
