Kubota BX2200 mower deck issues.

Has a 60 inch deck on it.
There are 2 pins that float to hold the deck on. Without them cannot raise or lower the deck, just falls all the way down.
It is happening way too much now. Heaven forbid if I attempt to mow close to something.
Getting terribly old.
Have thought about using a pair of ViceGrips on the pins, however not the best idea because do not want to damage the pins.
Had another idea. Drill a hole threw each pin so I can install a small lynch pin that is easy to remove,
Do you think this would work, or does anyone have a better idea? DOUG

I am not familiar with your mower but, I don't see why you can't put some kind of pin in those pins if they keep falling out. The big issue
is will the pin you add clear everything? You don't want your new pin to jam up the lift linkage or some other part on the deck.

Would sure like to see a picture of what you are talking about. I have 2 60 mid mount Kubota decks (B1700 HST and BX 25DLB) and
the the pins that hold the deck to the lift are spring loaded. Never had a problem.

Neighbor has one of those I used to do maintenance on it. The pins should be spring loaded.
You can go to Kubota website and view a parts catalog. You may need model and serial number off deck.

I would still like to see a picture. I will try to remember to get a picture of one of mine tonight. By what you are describing,
I think you are missing the springs.
