Wanted: Opinion on this group of 3 Cub Cadets

HI Garden Tractor Experts:
A friend and i are considering buying this group of 3 Cub Cadet tractors and accompanying parts listed below.
Apparently it looks like there's one each of Mdl 70, 100, original.
The additional parts that go w/ this deal are:
3 mower decks
2 delco starters
2 motor deck carriages
1 hood
1 seat
2 front tires w/ wheels
box of yellow spray paint (# cans??)

I have attached pics of a 'group photo' of all 3 and individual shots of each. For the sake of convenience i have assigned a ref. no of 1,2 & 3 to the tractors as they appear in the group photo- going from front to back. best looking tracter #1
Comments on each based on what the seller has told me are below:
#1 is 10 Hp- It has an engine knock
#2 & # 3 are 7 Hp. #2 has the hi-lo transmission
#2 has some engine seepage but not a major leak
#3 has a throttle problem in which it won't maintain a set RPM, but RPM backs off to idle.

We live about 220 miles away so cannot verify what we have been told by the owner.

Considering the condition and what is included, what would be a price that would be a bargain for the entire kit and caboodle?

Any other thoughts or comments are welcome from the experts.

Thanks,

What is your intended purpose for these tractors?

If for mowing, forget them. Old style, not comfortable, not nice experience.

For something to do, go for it. Lots of work.

Wow, the guy that owns those has ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHAT HE HAS, All three are Originals. The one with the
nice paint depending on how it runs could be a $500 to $800 tractor. Early serial numbers bring a premium
price. I'm really not a fan of Originals, the oil bath air cleaner is always a mess, only left rear wheel has
a brake, if the left wheel locks up on a wet grassy hill your in for an eye-opening ride. The belt between the
engine and clutch is tough to keep tight. The timed two bladed deck is just ok, once again a small V-belt
runs from the center pulley to the right side spindle and has to transmit full power. And if you hit something
with the left side mower blade pretty good chance you will snap the clogged timing belt that keeps the blades
from crashing into each other. In 1964 that was a $22 belt, in '65 it was almost $40, I think it's about
$75-$80 now. Guy that bought our old Original told Dad that he always ran the toothed belt kinda loose, and in
40 years of mowing never broke it.
Yes, one of the tractors has an underdrive. M&W Gear made an Overdrive&Underdrive for that tractor, a 9
speed, 12 mph road speed, they are VERY rare, guy that owns IH Cub Cadet.com knows where most of them are at.
I can't tell if one of them has a 10 hp engine, a friend from IH CUB CADET.COM put a 10 or 12 hp engine in an
Original and he had to space the hood up to clear the gas tank. None of those hoods are raised.
I gave this advice to somebody a couple weeks ago. ONLY BUY a tractor off somebody on IH Cub Cadet.com,
they actually know what stuff is worth. I wouldn't give over $600 total for all 3 tractors. I doubt the 2
rusty ones have been under cover at all in the last 30-40 years. The serial numbers are stamped into the right
side of the transmission housing about 2-3 inches back from the end of the steel frame, about 2 inches from
the top edge.

Roger thanks for you input!

We have a small commercial pecan farm and was going to use it to either pull a fertilizer or boom sprayer. The thought was to keep the implement connected so when i need it, it's ready to go. but i don't think it will have a tight enough turning radius to do what my 2016 Craftsman mdl 247.20442 lawn tractor does--it has almost a zero turn radius.
When considering what you have said and what Dr. Devil describes i think i'm going to pass- because the best looking one has an engine knock and the one with the 2 speed trans has issues with getting it in to gear.
What i don't need is another wrenching project.
Thanks for taking your time to educate me, much appreciated!
