What Batteries for GE 12

What and how many batteries does a GE 12 take ?
Saw on on Craigslist and said batteries were gone out .
Is there a charger for them ?
I kinda new to them ,not what to look for .

I believe it would depend on what a GE 12 is, does it take "double A" batteries??

I think a GE 12 might be one of those old 'lektrik tractors. takes lotsa batteries.....................

I saw one once back in the 70's. It takes six (6) six heavy 6 volt batteries. Won't do you any good without all the cables and the charger. takes about 15 hours of charge time to get all the batteries at the same charge. More info: https://www.myelec-traks.com/E12.html Good luck!

Most likely it will need 6 of the 6 volt golf cart batteries and good ones are now costing $120.00 to 160.00 each.

6-6volt heavy duty DEEP CYCLE batteries. charger is built into tractor wiring system, just plug it in.

I know the GE 12 took six 6 volt batteries.
My question is. Weren't the batteries wired to produce 36 volts in the GE series of tractors?

most individual battery vehicles were either 6 6v wired for 36V or 8 6v wired for 48V. Modern electric cars are usually much higher voltage.
