Can anyone cross a JD number for a standard seal? JD is closed till Monday and I would like to put this mower back together. 48M7039.

It's a Cortecco 82011144, metric, 52mm O.D., 35mm I.D., 7mm wide.

I don't see a direct cross reference, offhand.

The dimensions may help you at a bearing and seal supplier, or go to http://www.skfextranet.com/crsealsfinder/ and enter the metric dimensions and you can see what's available in that size.

I did try your numbers ,they were good but no one had them in stock . Ill pick them up at JD tomorrow. Thank you , Kevin
