Our son had this mower that had always been frustrating for him. I got it running this spring by cleaning out the carburetor, but he had more trouble with it. His new home has such a small lawn that he bought a cordless electric mower, it works well for him. So, I ordered a tune up kit from Amazon for the Tecumseh engine, consisted of a complete carburetor, air and fuel filters, and a spark plug all for $19! After getting it all together it started the first pull! I cleaned it up, changed the oil, sharpened the blade, and sold it on craigslist for $150!
