Deere mower deck fitment

Does anyone know if the mower deck off a JD 210 will fit on a JD 300? The older 300, not the 300X newer one. Or any place that might have a listing showing what fits? Thanks
 
No, the 210 is a belt ground drive with the engine mounted crosswise and the 300 is a hydro with the engine mounted longitudinally and the drive pulley setups on the decks are different because of how the engine is located.

With some swapping or mods to the upper mounts, decks for a 120 or 140, or 300, 312, 314, 316, 317, 318 or 322 will fit (those are all hydros).

New decks were available from Deere.
Expensive but would make tractor useful.

I have two I use. Updated to greaseable
spindles.

Yup, expensive is right. I think I'm just going to have to start welding. Gonna be a lot of it!
 
If you're going to weld consider welding the John Deere Mounting parts to a newer deck from a Husqvarna or other high lift deck.
