I have a Harbor Freight Predator V Twin engine (62879) and am needing head gaskets & valve stem seals. The HF website does not show these parts - only filters & such. Does anyone know a source for these parts or what engine brand the Predator may be a clone of? Any/all help appreciated.

I called Harbor Freight (1-888-866-5797) as I am contemplating the purchase of one of these engines and have been curious about parts availability.
I was told the head gasket IS available to be special-ordered with an expected delivery time of 8-12 weeks.
I didn't ask about the seals.
Had you previously called them?

A lot of predator engine parts are identical to Honda engine parts.
The long number stamped on the side of the engine block is the model number. Usually on the side opposite the cylinder head. I would 'google' that number and see what matches pop up. I use google because the other search engines want to sell you something and most times the first 3 or so hits are useless.
