I think it is 404437-0113-01

there are 3 part numbers for the breather 495796
393153
495756

This is a 12.5 ic v twin I think it has 2 breathers on it one on each side if the engine with a s shaped breather hose for each going to the air cleaner

Thank You

Garry

Part# 495796 is a crankshaft. Part# 495755 is the breather for cylinder #1 and it is still available new. Part# 393153 crosses to part# 495756 which is the breather for cylinder #2, that one is no longer available. Which one are you needing? I will see what I have in my used parts.

FYI: When my twin cyl 16hp Onan started blowing massive amounts of oil into the air cleaner from the breather, the front crankshaft seal was bad causing the crankcase to over pressurize. The was nothing wrong with the breather.

Hi

I think it would be the 495756 I know its not available for sure Talked with many dealers about it.

Its the rectangle box with a valve in it. On this one there are 2 of them with 2 screws to fasten it to the top of the engine just in front of where the intake manifold connects Its called a breather and a hose from each one attaches to the underside of the air cleaner body.
Only the right one is blowing oil into the air cleaner But would like to replace them both their both the same part I took off the hose and can see the valve in the right one is shot I don't know if that is the cause ot this but I hope it is and nothing worse I love this thing to the point I bought a 2ed one with a snow blower on it

thank you again

Yes, that engine does have 2 breathers on it. They each have a different part number. One is for cylinder #1 the other is cylinder #2. The 495755 is for #1 cylinder and it is available new. I'm going to look this evening and see if I would have the other one on a junk engine. Worst case you may be able to take it apart and get a red valve from another one that will fit.

That is the best news I have heard about this So sitting on the seat the one on the right side is for cyl 1 and 2 is on the left side of the top of the engine?

Then it would be the number 1 that is blowing oil into the air cleaner Which is great. The other one Doesn't blow any oil and is dry inside the hose. Would I need the one that isn't blowing oil and replace it if I can get one ?

Thank You so much

Garry

If you're looking at the engine facing the flywheel side, the #1 cylinder will be on the right. If the other side isn't blowing oil I wouldn't worry about it. Glad I could help you out.

Hi
I havent toren it a part yet Waitting to find the lowest cost for the parts I will need.

I want to thank everyone that has given me imfo here and will start with the breather, hopefully this will fix it.

I was thinking that the 2 numbers for the breathers might just be because if the plate that the breather screws to and I almost bet just the breather is the same for both,Just guessing till I get it apart

Anyway Thank you all again Its was very nice to have all your help

Garry
