Saturday I was using my John Deere #49 snow thrower on a John Deere 300 (16hp Kohler), all of a sudden I heard this awful racket, I thought I had hit some ice. I turned it off, checked the auger, then back on and the noise seamed to go away, then it came back. I took the thrower off the tractor and removed the gearbox. All of the teeth on both gears are broken off. I know that the Deere prices are going to be off the chart, so my question is; where can I purchase these gears at a reasonable price? Thanks in advance for any feedback / advise. Jack
Serial number on the Blower is M0049 X 539225
Numbers on the gearbox are A245 on one side and 061133 on the other side.
