took apart starter & one of 4 is busted. have not been able to located any sets. anyone know where to obtain other than junk starter thanks

Used starters and new generic starters are $19 and up on ebay, a guy can't mess around much for that.

On the other hand, I have carefully epoxied some pretty broken up magnets back in place and put the starter back in use.

As I'm sure you know the magnetic polarity for each location has to be correct/as original, usually a guy can see marks from the failed glue to note where each piece goes.

Magnets are not availible as a replacement part. Gluing the magnets back in a starter is tricky. Everything must be cleaned and the magnets must be lined up correctly as to their polarity (north and south poles) Also to much glue and the magnets will rub the armature. You really need to just look for a different starter.
