wheel horse wont lift plow or cultivator

I just bought a cultivator and a plow for my 1968 wheel horse raider 12. when I lift the lever all the way up the cultivator still sits on the ground I am
getting irritated at this point i don't know what to do. Thanks in advance.

I am not familiar with those. It might help if you can post some pictures of your hitch setup and any connections you made to the lift lever.

I have a snow plow on the front I’m not sure if that’s why it won’t lift it completely off the ground but once I raise my lift lever all the way up the cultivator is still on the ground.

Is the steel cable that runs to rear of tractor connected to arm on slot hitch & also to lift arm bracket?

Possible cause's of no lift problem, cable not connected at each end, cable rusted off/broken,clevis for cable on lift arm end connected to wrong arm or to wrong hole in arm.

Does it raise the snow plow???
Does it move the rear hitch??
Does it have a rear hitch??
Does it have a lift cable to the rear hitch??
Manual or hyd. lift??
And it's either or, your not going to lift both ends at the same time.

1. it does raise the snowplow.
2. it does move the rear hitch up and down.
3. it does have a rear hitch.
4. it does have a lift cable connected to the rear hitch and it is in working order.
5. manual lift.

Thanks for the information. I didn't know you couldn't lift both at the same time. Thanks!

Steel cable is connected, and in working order as I can lift my snowplow fine. The rear hitch moves up and down it just doesn't move the 1 bottom plow off the ground.

After posting previous reply I went back & looked at posted pic again,it appears that slot hitch is not installed correctly & may be the cause of lift problem, slot hitch is supposed to sit ON TOP of trailer hitch bar, with hitch bar thru slot hitch it limits travel of slot hitch.

Goto red square wheelhorse website and see if implement hitch(slot type)model 8-5521 parts list/instructions is available in the manuals library,in it is a clear picture of slot hitch installed on tractor & connection of cable to lift arm bracket.

You can lift both at the same time but how you going to cultivate and plow at the same time.

Im not going to run both at the same time i just wanted to make sure it would lift it off the ground high enough so it wouldn't drag.

You got it right, trailer hitch bar on rear of trasaxle DOES NOT go thru slot hitch, the slot hitch sits on top of trailer hitch bar giving slot hitch a greater up/down travel, the flat bar on cultivator hitch now installs into slot hitch and a 3/8"-1/2" hitch pin/J pin drops thru hole in top of slot hitch and cultivator hitch bar hole, you'll have to remove pin that holds slot hitch, diconnect cable from slot hitch, slide hitch OFF trailer bar hitch & reinstall slot hitch so it's on top of trailer hitch bar, this is why I told you to goto red square & see if you can find/download implement lift instructions/parts list(2 pgs)a picture is worth a thousand words.

Ok I believe I understand what you are saying now. I couldn't find the instructions on red square, but I am gonna try and look again.
