PK 1614 transmission

2 questions: I have been trying to find a good used or rebuilt Borg-Warner T 92 4 speed transmission. How hard would it be for a semi-skilled mechanic to replace the input bearing? 2. Will the 3 speed transmission bolt in without any problems? I can find plenty of 3 speeds, but no fours. The tractor is an 1983 model with steel fenders, hood etc. not the fiberglass looking model. Thanks! 🤔

Hi Royced, the 4 speed transmission is not not a Borg Warner and the model number is 92T built by Peerless, replacing the bearing is not all that hard, To answer your second question the answer is yes the Warner T92 3 speed can be installed it will require some mods to the tunnel a different clutch disc (the splines are different between the 2 trans) and the drive shafts and couplings from the trans to the differential. Good luck
