I have a 110 round fender that actually has a couple issues going on. This was my grandpa's mower he bought new and my daughter has an interest in it, I think mostly because it looks like my 4010. Anyway, the first one is it occasionally jumps out of second gear. When I got it the trans was almost out of oil and I filled it with 80-90 gear lube. It didn't do this the first year we ran it but it does now.
The other issue is the speed variator doesn't slow the tractor down. It used to, and when I was mowing the yard with it it suddenly stopped working, I guess it just wants to go fast? The shieves move freely, belts are almost new and worked fine previously, and I don't see anything obviously broke. There is no resistance on the lever whatsoever.
Last thing is, where is a good place to get a service manual for it? I haven't started looking for one yet, but thought I would ask anyway.
