I just bought a 1979 C 141 Wheelhorse garden tractor. I know someone on this forum has a couple of real nice Wheelhorse tractors, but I can't remember who it is. I have a few questions. If you know about Wheelhorse, please let me know. Thanks Greg

I got four of them, don't necessarily mean I know everything about them.

No I don't. I bought a couple of spray cans of paint to paint the foot rests on the 518 and 520 when I bought them.
Bought the paint from the dealer in Rockford Il.. There's a new red and an old red and I don't remember which is which.
Try the red square Wheel Horse forum, somebody will know.

IH 2150 is close and I painted my little Lawn Ranger with Massy Ferguson red.

Those tractors look beautiful. I can only hope mine turns out half as good. I used Van Sickel Massey Ferguson red on my Massey 14. From a spray can. It literally took weeks for that paint to dry. I won't be using that again. I recently bought another MF 14, and this Wheelhorse. I always wanted a Wheelhorse. Thanks for your help. Greg

I used cheap nine bucks a quart Farm and Fleet Massey paint plus a splash of hardener on that little Lawn Ranger. Turned
out way better than expected.

Wheel Horses are pretty easy to work on plus since 1973 I think any implement can be used on a newer tractor with that
attacha matic hitch and can be changed without tools. I have an advertisement that shows how to install the mower deck in
I think 65 seconds, I've done it but not lately.

OK I need me one of those. Where do you live?, and what time do you go to bed?

Looks good from here but your going to have to know the story of the horse and the tractor.

My C-141 is as complete as I can make it right no. I am waiting on the engine decal set, and a new head light lens. It's not going to win any blue ribbons at the county fair, but I am happy with it.

Sure looks nice. I had a B100 or C100 I bought in about 1980, looked just like yours but a 10hsp st. transmission. Think
it was a 1975 or 6, was a favorite of mine but I sold it.

Where'd you get that seat?

My old tiller tractor has a 14 hsp. Kohler engine, must have a million hours on it and still runs strong.

I got the "saddle" from Amazon. Here is the link.
