Help identify old western auto supply riding mower

I've got an old green mower that
the kids love to drive. Its
small. Painted like a john deere
and has various deere stickers on
it. Been trying to ID it. Has a
western auto supply tag that reads
MTD5445A17 model 11111. Chain
driven rear. 3 speed w reverse.
Any help would be appreciated

Id seen the wizards but the deck level bar was always on the wrong side and the hood was slightly different. Hours and hours of scouring the internet and I found one. Still can't find anything on year of manufacturing. The serial # and model on my tag don't exist or coincide with any MTD pages. I just dropped the rear axel to weld up some issues. Now I can't remember how the chain tensioners were setup. Neither of them had the springs attached so they were just kinda flopping around. Back to to the web for more scouring!!

It is an MTD built unit, late 60's early 70's. I used to have one my Grandpa bought new in '67 that was labeled for JC Penney and was light blue and white. They were sold under lots of names as well as MTD.
