Honda H2113 lawn tractor muffler

Hi, I bought this last year and after undoing some of the stuff the previous owner did to it, I have it running fairly well, needs some more minor adjusting but the project at hand is to replace the muffler. I thought it might be pretty straight forward but once I dove into it, it looks like you have to just about dismantle the whole front of the machine. Anyone ever done this and could give me a few pointers? I contacted Honda and the shop manual will take a month to get here as they have subcontracted out the publishing of them and it is a demand print item.

Does that one have the in-line water-cooled twin engine? (like an old Honda motorcycle engine?)

If so, lots of things on those are difficult to repair. I work for a Honda servicing dealer and usually the customer does not authorize the repair because the estimate to do the work is so high.
