Check out kirkengines.com he has a lot of goodies for Kohler engines, he is a fan of the cub cadet chassis but the engine upgrades will work for any kohler, I got a point saver, points & coil for my K241 in a wheel horse chassis. Hard to beat those old kohlers, spent many hours on a 65 JD 110 with a K181.
Im not connected to Kirk engines in any way, found it by chance and have found it to be a good parts source. Got my order within a week.
