Case 444 with K321

Not starting quick or 'normal'. needs lotsa choke.. checking the fuel squirt from the hose, at the carb, shows barely a jump.
new pump and connected & pumped manually, it squirts 12 inches! Appears the cam lobe for fuel pump is not pumping the lever enough ?? Is this common on old engines. Or maybe wrong new pump.

Check that you're possibly installing the pump wrong,check that pump arm is OVER cam when installing pump to block,pump can be installed with arm under cam which is incorrect & will cause little/no pump output in addition to possibly damage to pump,been there/done it.Very easy to install wrong.
