Wisconsin AB Exhaust Valve Size - Reamer

I have a Wisconsin AB engine where the exhaust valve gets stuck. I've opened her up and see that the valve channel has some corrosion and needs to be cleaned up. I may also replace the valve, but the existing one seems serviceable and isn't bent. I believe the existing valve is of stock size, and there is a +4 option available. However, I do not know the actual base size to clean the bore to. Can anyone shed some light so I can order a proper reaming tool or something?

all you need is a brush for cleaning the guide and some brake clean. i bought mine at napa. it just a round brush with metal handle. sure dont want to reaming in there.

I already threw brake clean and other magical cleaners at it, but it didn't really touch it. The valve was so stuck I needed to get creative with vice grips and a hammer to get it removed.

All I could find on Napa's website was a plumbers brush, but it looks way too thick (like at least twice as wide).

I'm looking to take something that is currently unusable and give it some more life. Not necessarily looking for fresh rebuild quality if it is skill, equipment or generally cost prohibitive; also not looking to remove any possibility of a future refresh either.

If it were mine this is what I'd get a 1/4" x 4" bolt cut the head off cut a slot 1 1/4" with a hacksaw take some 1" wide fine emery cloth put the emery strip in the slot wind it around the bolt don't make it a tight fit just a slip fit chuck it into a chordless drill and shine up the guide put the valve and check if its tight give it a bit more

I have a big selection of gun cleaning brushes.
They come in handy for many jobs around the shop.

McMaster Carr Industrial Supply has adjustable reamers. I ordered one to use on a continental engine that had one valve fitting too tightly in the guide. Check your engine specs for side to side clearance of the valve in the guide, if memory serves me right .001-.002 clearance was right for the engine I was working on and solved the problem with that valve. There are also standard size valve guide reamers available for a relatively low cost from NAPA and other automotive tool suppliers. You could use one of these if the Wisconsin valve stem diameter is the same as some common automotive applications.
