Just picked up a Ford 1100 compact tractor. Built in 1980 or 81. But the front wheel assist doesn't work. Is that a common problem on these or does anyone know?
Also it seems to have a creeper transmission. But it goes from H to Creep, no low range.

Probably just gonna have to tear into it.

Turns out the driveshaft was not connected.

Yessir. I think it does not have a creeper transmission. Just Hi, freewheel and low.
Not sure why the front axle drive shaft was not connected. Kind of a bear to get connected though. Had to drop the front axle to get enough room for the yoke to slip over the shaft. Once it did it was just a matter of pushing it in and putting the axle back on.
