I have changed out the seals and gaskets on my 1973 cub cadet 129. Put back together and now it will not go forward or reverse. How would I go about purging or bleeding?

Replaced the cork gasket between the hydrostatic and rear end. Also the gasket seal when you split the pump in half.

When running we took the Alan screw out where pressure gauge goes and fluid came out. Going to check out pin

What type of check valves does it have, automatic or manual?
If manual, are the stuck depressed?

They are automatic and move freely.

When we put in forward or reverse we can hear hissing. Not sure if that would be air or the pump trying to engage.
