I ordered a rebuild kit for my 4 wheel tractor, see post below. I found
the kit on eBay with gravelytractormusium as the seller. Cost was $51 as
opposed to $200 for a whole new clutch. Kit worked good except the pop
rivets require a long reach pop riveter which I don't have so I bad to
make a tube to reach down into the lining and squeeze the river.
I then thought I should adjust the clutch linkage, then I remembered I
should have been doing that as regular maintainence. After adjusting the
clutches it now feels like it used to, much more force needed to engage
the clutch. I think my forgetting to keep up with clutch adjustment led
to the failure of the lining.....Bad me!
