Anyone might know on this mower forward and reverse on hydrostat just creeps, if you engage pedals all the way kills engine anyone might know what is happening with this thing?

yes it has a parking brake of some sort its been setting for a few yrs I had to back one side of the brakes to get it inch what little speed it does move now, brakes and parking brake seem to be frozen they will not move.

The RED pedal is the shut down safety, the pedals are prone to rusting and that can cause creeping,I had to drill holes in the shaft so I could oil them. I really like mine.

The brakes are behind the wheels just like a car with drum brakes. I worked on the pedal rocker shafts a long time before they freed up. I think I even had the torch under there. You can go to JD parts.com and get a good look at the parts diagram. I have the 932 gas version, the only thing I don t like about it ,is the gas motor loves gas,my 455 will use half the fuel mowing the same yard.

thanks for all the replys on this, found out it was my safety switch on the seat, learned something new lol.
