Counter clockwise for "No Drive" and Clockwise for "Drive".

When I first got my 120 Hydro many years ago, that knob was stuck.

As I recall, I applied a abundant amount of Liquid-Wrench and was then able to turn it using Vise-Grips on the stem below the knob.

Funny.....I originally typed "a (the opposite of conservative) amount" and when I previewed it it was changed to "a abundant amount".

does the place threaded for a knob have anything to todo with twisting to clockwise
