Ford lgt problem

I have a older lgt ford tractor that has been cut down to a bare minimum( by previous owner/owner's) I have since built a buggy for my girls with it. Was told it ran a year before I bought it. Has sat for about 3 since I've owned it. Had a slight problem with the motor turning the pump the wrong way. Not the original motor, new motor was mounted backwards from original.

Well it's moved a time or to since I've been working on it not more than a ft of two, since my shop is small. Yesterday I pulled it out the shop and put the top on and backed it back in, move probaly 20 ft. It was jerky and hesitant to move. Then last night as I was driving it to the house it just quit moving. Hydro lever engages and it tries to move but it doesn't, jacked the rear end up, same thing. Changed the fluid, no change. Fluid is full, no filter on it ( how I got it).

I need suggestions on where to go now???????????

What model?

Did it run for more than a few seconds with the hydro being driven the wrong way?

Have you been dragging it around without the engine running?

What Bob said X2. Running it backwards
and dragging it around probably ruined it
for any work but i'd think it would move
a little bit with cold oil. Try jacking
the rear up and running it to purge air
from the system but don't get your hopes
up, my bet is it is toasted.

Model unsure, I believe it to be a 125
It's was probaly ran about 5 minutes total in the wrong direction.

It has been moved a few times with the motor not running. Not really dragging it. I would simple push it out my shop to clean the shop and then push it back in. Would shift the trans axle to neutral while doing that.

Yeah I tried that yesterday and to not good. Once off the ground, and on cold oil in high range it would move forward fairly ok but not backwards. And the more you cycled forward and reverse the less or would move until not moving at all.

So you think the hydro is toast or just the charge pump?

You can remove a line and it still is pumping oil, but I'm guessing it just not pumping enough?

I have 2 Ford lgt tractors here in my building. Would like for both of them to find new home. Both run . Also have a John Deere lgt with a rear mounted tiller. That needs to go also. All located in Va.
