442 case garden tractor

have a 442 case with j80 snowblower put new oem belt on it runs but when you lift blower the belt comes off any help would be great thanks

I got no idea what yours looks like, my Wheel Horse has an equalizer to keep the belt happy going up and down.

all pullys are in good shape . will run but if i lift blower more than a couple inches the belt jumps

You may not have the correct spring on the belt tensioner, you say a OEM belt so it should be the correct length, does the idler pulley look original? Call 608-924-1662,, Bill and Charlie can help walk you through the issue ,, they are the #1 place today selling Case Compacts parts today,, a pic of how its setup and how you ran the belt will help also,, it needs certain twists to run correctly, I have a number of them I use on my farm and we sold a good number of them new

I'm not being smart but it the belt routing right I have a J84 and I have put the belt on wrong figured it out before I run it so don't know if the belt would have come off that's the only thing I can think of

there is a diagram on blower and belt is on right going to give bill and charlie a call tommarow that is where i got the belt
