Have two deere 214 lawn tractors with the k321aqs motor. Both tractors will run with one of the carbs neither tractor will run with the other carb. Both carbs have been cleaned and adjusted. Both tractors ran before. Any ideas?

go to e bay or Amazon and buy a 2 new aftermarket carbs they are cheaper then a cheap carb kit and half or less than a real carb kit needed to repair the worn out carbs

Those carbs are so simple, it ain't rocket surgery to clean 'em/fix 'em, and if you can't make that work, decent new ones from "The Land of Almost Right" can be had for $15 delivered. (fleabay)

Only issue is it may take some parts swapping to match up the carb's choke lever to the choke cable on the (green) tractor.

Will try one from ebay. Never had any trouble before and have nine of these tractors. Thanks.

You can bind the float if you get the float bowl the slightest bit crooked.
The float valve can get sticky if you don't pull it all the way out and clean the seat.
You need to take the fuel mixture needle all the way out and clean all the little
holes in the sides all the way up and down.
You need to take the fuel mixture seat out and clean both sides of it and the bore it
screws into before putting it back in.
You may know all this....these are things I have had to go back and re-do after
I "cleaned and adjusted" one of those carburetors.

Why is it we never have time to do it right but have time to do it over?

I just did the same on my 12 horse, pulled the carb and twiddled with it to keep it from dumping fuel while sitting.

Ended up yanking it back off later that night to re-clean & actually measure float height.
