john deere 345

I have a john deere 345 liquid cooled with Kawasaki with 54" deck. It started pouring out white smoke. IT seems to run ok and starts ok but I have not
mowed or run it much afraid of damaging the engine. The oil seems okay but I think I am getting coolant in the engine and it is burning since the
radiator was low. Seems like coming out of muffler though is some oil. Any ideas or thoughts by anyone. the mower has about 1100 hours. It was
running fine and just seemed to start in smoking.

I have, whoops, had a Deere LX188 with a liquid cooled 17 horse power Kawasaki and 1006 hours when just outa the blue lotsa white smoke and it was the head gasket. If you pressure check the system, you'll find the leak. And while it's in pieces, replace the timing gear and chain. Mine was teflon and about ready to go. I repaired everything and got to thinking, I've it 20 plus years, first real time in shop, seat needs replacing and a guy called me while it was in the shop and wanted to buy it. So I sold it and bought an X390. That power steering is nice!
