Make of this old tractor?

Can anyone help ID my grandpa's old "orchard tractor?" I always remembered it as an Allis "G " because I always thought it was going backwards. My mom dug up this old photo and now I can see clearly that it wasn't a "G." As soon as I saw the picture, I remembered how my Grandpa would always warn me against getting my fingers near that chain and sprocket on the steering column. Anyhow, thanks in advance for any clues. I can't find anybody around that remembers these things.

(quoted from post at 17:23:04 10/18/19) Does the entire front axle pivot to steer?

No. The wheels are mounted to a solid axle. The entire front end pivots on a shaft.

Think of it operating much like a Gravely or David Bradley walk behind with a sulky attached.

Did they make a version of this with the steering wheel right up between the fron wheels with no chain steering. There is a Wards coming up for sale with the same design except everything sits between the wheels, with very little hanging out on front.
