Service Manual for a Craftsman Lawn Tractor

Sears is nothing like it used to be. I'm trying to get a service manual for my new Craftsman lawn tractor. The tag under the seat list 2 model numbers. 13AL78XS093 & CMXGRAM1130038 I've tried Sears and also my Internet searches have not turned anything up.

That is a new, Stanley-owned Craftsman. Not a Sears. It was built by MTD.

I don?t believe Stanley Black & Decker bought the Craftsman lawn and garden line from Sears. Hand tools only. Could be wrong though.

Stanley owns the entire Craftsman brand for all products:

"The $900 million deal adds Craftsman lawnmowers, snowblowers and barbecue grills to Stanley Black & Decker?s line of power and hand tools - a market where Craftsman is also strong."

After buying Craftsman, Stanley bought 20% of MTD with an option to buy the rest of it in 2021. The new Stanley-Craftsman mowers are all MTD built.

IF...I am not mistaken, owners manuals are rquired by law so you can get them for almost anything. SERVICE manuals are a whold different story. Talk to your local lawnmower repair guy and he might have a copy you can look through and take pictures with your smart phone. Lots of that stuff they have to pay for or if they are a manufacturer repair center they might get ONE copy of that book. You might be able to get one but I bet it will cost you about 25 or 30 bucks. At least this is what I have found.

I read you wrong service manuals are always bought stuff, or its all online now, any good dealer shop be able to get if you ask, I have retired out of lot my connections other wise I probably get you copy

I called Sears last time I needed one gave them the complete Serial # along with description they had it...
