Two blade rider deck size?

If I were looking for a rider with a two blade deck verses a three blade deck, is there a size I should look for that might for sure be a 2 blade mower?

Are you wanting to avoid crawling under the deck or are you wanting to screen craigslist ads?
Craigslist sellers might not even know how many blades they have.

John Deere made a two-blade deck for the 200 and 300 series tractors.
It was the model 38 and was made for mulching and bagging. Other manufacturers may have done similar things.

The largest TWO blade deck that I have is 46 inch. This is on a Husqvarna and a
Cub Cadet. Two different manufacturers built these machines. Any bigger like my
54 inch goes to three blade. Now let us hold a minute. The deck on a 110 John
Deree from around 1966 or so has three blades. Two outer blades and a really
small center blade. I hope i am not dreaming this. Or is it on a really old Cub
Cadet? Will take a look next time i am up there. Don't shoot the messenger.

Thanks gang, discovered all 3 of the riders we already have are two blade decks. Long story, trying to keep it short. We maintain a Control Line Model airplane site that has grass berms around the circles. They are getting overgrown as it's difficult to control the width by bumping the mower deck up against the berm. My idea is to put short blades on a 2 blade rider leaving 6 to 8 inches in the center uncut.

Still dark here, in a few hours it will be light enough for the cameras to start working.

(quoted from post at 02:47:18 08/01/19) I know that 42" decks are 2 blade. And I think most 48" are also, but I have seen a 3 blade 48.

My JD GT275 is a 48" deck with three blades. New Craftsman T210 and JD X300 are 42" with two blades.
